About Me

Artist, naturalist, human.

Born to be Wild

Growing up, my parents taught me many ways to appreciate and be curious about nature. It has given my life color, inspiration, and joy and I want to share that perspective with the world.

As a child, I was always running around in the yard exploring the natural world with an imaginative flair of my own. However, as I got older, I spent more of my time deep in the digital world of software development, marketing, and design.

When I moved to Norway, I heard the wilderness call to me once more, and I answered. Immersing myself in new ecosystems with unfamiliar flora, fauna, and feathery friends, I reignited my love for the natural world and began seeking ways to share this beauty with others.

Besides capturing the artistic beauty, I wanted to promote the mindset of being curious about our environments. We can learn a lot from nature, and I look forward to showing you how.

The most important thing you have is your perspective.

I love exploring different creative mediums to share the natural world and all the intrinsic qualities that make our planet such a special place to live. I consider myself a citizen scientist and spend much of my free time observing the seasonal and chronological patterns of our environment.

We all search for meaning in life and are often unsettled by change. The more I observe life, the more I see that change is inevitable, diverse, and has a cascading effect on the other organisms around us. That give my life purpose; to just know that any small action I take does indeed ripple throughout the world one molecule at a time.
